Loudoun County Virginia Meet Up?

Is anyone interested in meeting monthly in the Ashburn, VA or Leesburg, VA area to discuss real estate investing? Date/Time is still TBD based upon interest. I'm leaning towards a weekend morning since most of us are pretty busy during the week.

My thought is that the meeting would be pretty informal with no set presentation.  I will not be pitching any products or services but I do want anyone attending to be able to share deals or services that may benefit the group.

Does anyone have access to a space that we can use in the Ashburn or Leesburg area?

@Chris Strokes @Victor Evans That is a great idea! I'll ask my RE agent if he'd be willing to let us use his conference room. His office, however, is located in Reston, VA (approx. 20 min away from Ashburn). Would that be too far?

    I wish I could attend this!! I wont be back until the end of the month or early next month. I can’t attend this one. Once I get some dates firm maybe we could have a one off or something.

    @Anup Kumar our next meet up will be 21 January 

    I entered it in the BP events area as well but I guess it does not show up until the event is a little closer.

    Hi! I'd also be interested in a Loudoun County meetup, and would be willing to plan and host. I have office space that I can use, right off Route 7 between Ashburn and Leesburg in the Wegmans shopping center.

    Before we go too far down this road, does anyone have any experience with these meetings? I'd love to hear your experience, and if you think another meetup in the area would add value.

    I started this thread years ago and we had a meetup going for a little while but then I ran into some personal issues and couldn't keep it going.  The link you mentioned https://www.meetup.com/Loudoun-REI-Connect/events/ is actually the meet up that I started but re-named.  Lee took the meet up over and has kept it going.

    I would be very interested in a REI meetup in Loudoun County if you were to start one Adrienne. Please let me know if you choose to plan one and I'd be glad to try and help in any way that I can. I admittedly have no experience with a REI group but would love to see one in Leesburg.

    Thanks for the history @Chris Strokes. @Paul Ellington I'm thinking that I'm going to visit this other group, first to learn what it's like. Then depending on what they're doing, maybe start a group closer to the Leesburg area.
