I'm curious as to the psychology involved with external security measures.  Specifically whether or not marketing 'added security' via #ACCages, Steel Doors, Burglar Bars, Crawl Space Doors, etc. would make a property More/Less Attractive to resale?

I dont know if seeing a caged ac unit should be a dis qualifier.   Even in nice areas, vacant homes are subject to theft.
