Flipping in Cleveland Ohio

Mohamed Barry
Posted

HI all i am exploring flipping homes next year. My target market right now is Cleveland, Ohio. Just going over the recently sold homes on Zillow and other sites, i am seeing a lot of homes being purchased for 20-30 k and sold for 150k plus. I am also seeing a large inventory of these cheaper 20-30 k homes. I am reading some books, and doing my education. But i would love to connect with flippers who have been successful with purchasing homes in around 20-50k and successfully flipping them for profit. Even if you dont have flipping experience in Cleveland i would still love to get in touch and hear about your experiences. Thank you.

Hey! Flipping homes in Cleveland can be profitable, but it's important to target the right properties. Look for areas with rising demand, such as those with good schools or job growth. Not all cheap homes will sell easily. Be ready to spend $30k-$60k on renovations for properties in the $20-50k range. Focus on kitchens, bathrooms, and curb appeal for the best ROI. Expect surprises like hidden issues (foundation, plumbing), so have extra funds set aside.
Lastly, connect with an investor-friendly realtor who has access to off-market deals and a reliable team of contractors.
