Take it to a metal recycling place. Yes, you should get paid for it. Don't just leave it laying around after you're pulled it off, or it will grow legs.

and like he said, IT will grow legs! We had a property that we bought and two guys drove up to the house in the daylight and stole the aluminum siding right off of the house!
LOL! The house was going to be torn down anyway, we didnt care but it was the whole point.
If it is the thicker size, I believe around 6" lath and you have a place to save it, do so or advertise it for sale. You can make much more money selling it to rehabbers then for scrap. It is very hard to come by. I could use a few pieces myself for a project.
