Dear BP members,
Do any of you know of any good home inspectors or general contractors in the Atlanta/Decatur area? My wife and I are planning on purchasing a property for ourselves (possibly a rehab) in the coming days/weeks and are looking for someone that is responsive, thorough, investor-minded, and reasonably priced.

An old friend of mine / Team Trivia MC, Chuck Turner has been inspecting for years and does a great job. He's also with Buyers protection group as mentioned in the previous post.

@Nick Brubaker - I'll put in a word for HomeProbe inspections as well. The owner, Jeff Luther, is a neighbor (and a great person). I used them for an inspection of a rental I purchased a year ago, and the guy who came out was thorough, patient with my questions, and then they were willing to work with me (appropriately) on wording the findings to meet lender requirements and get seller concessions (on a rusted-out open sewer pipe under the house!)
