LF Vinyl Plank & LVT colors that won't be discontinued soon
Was just talking with Menards, the Mohawk Home Expressions vinyl plank I used for the last project is already discontinued. Menards checked with the vendor on their current set of colors (came in Fall 2017) and the vendor said the new stuff would last about a year before it's discontinued. ~15 months total sales life per color - that seems crazy to me.
I had intended from the beginning to find a vinyl plank product and color I could stick with for years and use in rehab after rehab to minimize waste and simplify materials management. Anyone have a well-made and well-priced vinyl plank or LVT they know of that lasts longer than a year before being discontinued?? I'm hoping for at least 5 years, but maybe that's to much to ask.
As an aside, price on Menard's Mohawk Home Expressions is $1.69/sq ft on sale, $2.18/sq ft regular. 4.2mm thick, 8mil wear layer, lifetime residential warranty. It's floating flooring, click-lock.
