Goettl wants $933 for a duct cleaning and $1,685 for the installation of an electronic air cleaner to give our tenants the best air quality. Is that too much?
Yes, I believe that is too much for duct cleaning. Unless, there was some sort of mold remediation that previously had to be done or something major. I do not have experience with electronic air cleaners however.

I posted this to Facebook and a friend of mine who happens to be in the industry offered to do it for just under $400. From what I've learned Goettl is by far the most expensive due to the massive advertising budget expenses.
Ask about blue light filters too. I was in a meeting this morning, and someone mentioned use a blue light mechanism on their HVAC system to kill mold and bacteria. I haven't looked into it yet, but I'm curious on the cost.
yea goettl just expensive and a huge company. also i did not know some companies did duct cleaning. i work for Hot Cold Air Heating and Cooling, for any future fixes, or questions on your ac system.
