Good morning all,
I am an active duty Marine, and primarily invest in the greater Springfield, Missouri area. I will be retiring there in 2-3 years, and want to begin getting more involved in the local community.

Hi I’m active duty AF and will also retire in 3-5 years most likely in the OKC area. I’m Missouri born and raised and will be keeping an eye out for buy and hold opportunities in Springfield. Right now we are focusing on OKC properties. I went to high school and college in Springfield area.
@Brian Simmons My wife is from Springfield, and I was a recruiter there. I'm stationed in Hawaii, but my time here is up in June. Then I have two years in California and headed back to Springfield. Awesome, thanks for reaching out!

@John McGonigal Right on, I was a recruiter in Springfield, and my wife was/is a counselor for Willard High-school. OKC is a decent market too.
Hello!!! I currently live in Oregon, but invest within 2 hours of Springfield. I currently buy and hold properties and have properties in Branson, Hollister and Camdenton. I just went under contract for a small complex in Stockton. I have family that live in Springfield and am in town 2-3 times a year. We plan on moving to Nixa in the summer of 2020. I will be in Springfield in April for a week, as I show my husband and father in law around the area and visit the investment properties and look at potentials.
@Genie Guisinger This is awesome, I recently offloaded a Branson property, and own 13 units in Springfield at the moment. I'll be moving back to Springfield full time around the summer of 2021. We will have to stay in touch!
My husband and I currently reside in Williston North Dakota and have one long term rental property in Branson, currently looking for a new property in that area or surrounding area. Thank you for your service @David Pere!

I live in NJ and have one single family rental in Springfield and am hoping to get a multi within the next year in that area. I will definitely look into the Branson area too. I've never heard of that town but now I will keep it on my list (which is part of why I love BP)
@David Pere, Thank you for your service! I live in Springfield and have properties throughout the Springfield Metro and NW Arkansas. I started doing apartment syndications about a year ago and have closed on 4 deals since August 2018 throughout KS, OK, and DFW. I would be happy to help any way I can.
I'm a Pearl City girl who married a mility brat who went to my high school in the 80's. My father-in-law is a retired 30yr marine who at the time was stationed at Camp Smith. Small world!

We are in Springfield till Aug 5 (the end of my husbands work contract at Cox South
Hospital) I ended up liking Springfield so much that we are currently in contract to buy a duplex as an investment. We will be at the local REIA meeting tomorrow June 20. Maybe well see you there.
Mike, Julie, and everyone else who commented. Thank you for the feedback! I was hoping to make it to the REIA last Thursday, but I was still down in Little Rock. I'll probably have to link up with some of you on my next visit to Springfield, but that will become increasingly more common until I'm finally back full time in about two years!
