Locating Qualified Tenants
Hey BP Community!
Just a general question. From a marketing perspective, what months do you find it takes the longest to locate qualified tenants?

Usually during the late fall and winter, particularly from November to February. During these months, people are less likely to move due to the holidays, colder weather, and the school year.

november.....
Winter months are definitely the most difficult months to occupy units. Especially after the Halloween holiday through the New Year. That is why at BHB we have all leases end from 3-31 through 09-30, to avoid the slow rental season.
Its a pleasure to provide professional property management and real estate information.

For most of the country it is the winter months Jan - Mar but in the warmer state it isn't as drastic.
