House Hacking advice
Good morning everyone.
I was wondering how long you HAVE to live in a home if you househack. I know it is illegal if I would never plan to live there but is there a set time you have to live there? I would appreciate it an experienced house hacker could clear this up.

It depends on what type of financing you're using. If you're doing conventional I don't think there is a specified time, but the VA loan is different. @Erik Browning do you know the answer? How long does a lender expect the owner to live in a primary residence?
