I’m hungry to get started in the right direction

I have just recently started to get into wholesaling real estate. I love doing things regarding real estate and really want to get into the wholesaling game but as I continue to research and learn more about it, I feel myself getting lost sometimes. I’ll gladly take any advice that you all have and would love to be able to have someone I can talk with so that I can get going in the right direction.

    @Justin Smith

    I think I've fielded this exact same question several times this week.

    You say "research" what does that mean to you? Are you reading through the guides available to you? Using any of the tools under the "education" tab at the top of this page? Those are great places to start. Go at your own pace. Real Estate isn't going to leave while you are learning so you should have no fear of missing out :-)

    There is no end of information on wholesaling on this site. Thousands of questions asked and answered. All you need to do is get busy with the search glass at the top of the page and the technique will unfold before you. You can also use it to find folks who are local to you, maybe find local meet ups...

    Also....take some time to flesh out your profile. I can't even see what market you're in, any back story, etc. As this is social media, you'll have an easier time connecting and networking when you have something to offer of yourself.

    When you have the basics down, come back and ask more detailed closed ended questions. We could type all day and not necessarily touch in your ballpark answering the "any advice" question.

    In my experience this site's all star professionals favor self starters who can and will get after it, while folks who need to be spoon fed get eaten alive by the gurus and salesmen who spot a mark. @Bryant Brislin generously offered some time, so there's a good start. Check out his profile and go from there.

    Hope that helps!

    Hey Justin,

    I'm a wholesaler in the Atlanta Metro area. I started 10 months ago. I'm actually close to you in Douglasville. Hit me up here or on IG reinextdoor. I don't know everything but I'll help you however I can.

    If I was you I would educate myself, find a target market, find buyers, then find properties that meet their criteria. Most people call that reverse wholesaling. I've found more confidence and success with that strategy. Read the book "If you can't wholesale after this I got nothing for you" I think that's the title or something like that.

    @Justin Smith watch Pace Morby, Brent Daniels, and Max Maxwell on Youtube. They have great content, and it's free. Also, Wholesaling Inc podcast.

    I think since knowledge is easily available and you may seemed overwhelmed. The key is to prioritize. I would simply make a 2 week, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month plan of a break down in what you want to accomplish and how. Whether big or small try to complete them and take it from there … putting things on paper will help you prioritize abs strategize. Dm me if you have other questions.
