Just starting out Wholesaling

Ethan Chapin
Posted

I'm an 18 year old who really wants to get into wholesaling and learn about real estate investing. From what I understand by reading other posts is that the best way to learn is to start doing it and learn from the experiences. I would like to know what the fundamentals are and where and how to learn them. Can anyone help me?

Ethan,

That’s a great place to be at 18.

You’ve got the right idea—this business is learned by doing, not just studying. Just don’t try to learn everything at once.

Start simple:

  • Learn basic numbers (what makes a deal a deal)
  • Pick one way to get leads
  • Start calling and having conversations

You’re probably going to feel awkward at first—that’s normal. Everyone does.

If you stay consistent and keep improving, things start to click faster than you’d expect.

Feel free to reach out if you have questions along the way.
