i just wanted to ask what you guys prefer wearing to appointments at the sellers home, and what would you receommend?

Would wearing a suit and tie be preferred?

Relaxed look?

as going in there to help with their situation, i would assume a professional look would be good. But at the same time I feel it could come in and give an impression of arrogance maybe? what do you guys think or prefer?

Try to determine what the price ranges for houses are in that area and dress the part.  I don't think I'd go to either extreme:  suit & tie or in shorts.  I prefer the casual dress look.
