House hackers in Indiana

Hello,

I recently purchased my first house hack in Indiana! Are there any house hackers in Indiana hanging out here in the forums? I’d love to connect!

Congrats on the first house hack — that first one changes how you look at housing forever.

I’d connect with as many Indiana operators as you can, but also start keeping notes on the actual operating side now: rent assumptions vs. reality, vacancy, maintenance, utilities, tenant friction, and what surprised you. That operating history becomes incredibly valuable by the time you’re looking at house hack #2.

We spend a lot of time thinking about exactly that layer — turning what happens on one property into better decisions on the next one.

OP, you should check out local facebook groups for investors. Also, consider going to local meet ups in your area. If there are not any, start one.
