Hello from Utah! Interested in Connecting with Vacation Property Investors

Hi everyone!

I'm Mike, based in Northern Utah. My professional background is in marketing and business development, and I've recently become involved in an exciting luxury real estate development called Zion Shores in Southern Utah.

It's a unique project combining luxury second-home ownership with world-class surfing and outdoor recreation.

I'm joining BiggerPockets to learn from others in the real estate community and connect with people involved in vacation properties, resort developments, and luxury residential real estate.

I'd love to hear from anyone with experience in lifestyle-focused developments or second-home markets. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome, @Mike Simmons! Your marketing and business-development background should translate well to a lifestyle-focused project, where the experience and community can matter as much as the homes themselves.

Zion Shores sounds like an interesting concept. I’d be curious how the team is evaluating seasonality, owner usage versus rental demand, ongoing amenity costs, and the depth of the buyer pool for a surf-centered second-home community.

You should find plenty of useful perspectives here from investors and operators in vacation rentals, resort markets, and luxury development.
