If inability to affordability, again, what is the root cause not blaming those who can afford. 

Too many issues with owners "trying to help" by directly contacting tenants, but actually making things worse (including causing lawsuits).

I've seen everything from vents connecting to other resident's bathrooms causing an odor to decaying food creating something like this.

The dishwasher situation is what ultimately caused me to pause.When I asked about it, I was initially told:“The dishwasher was originally included on the move-out repair list but was removed to help reduce the overall cost.

It causes my skin to crawl just by typing that.

Few months back tenant left tap open causing like 800$ bill which I took care and it took 6 months for old PM to get that water bill from the tenant.
