There's an article currently posted about the 1% rule is "outdated". 

PS i scan through and saw quoated teh 1% rule the 2% rule  the 70% rule those are all out dated by at least 5 to 10 years.

Are these laws usually outdated, selectively enforced, or actively enforced?

Is there a fear of your models being outdated or inaccurate?

The reason those investor accounts are out dated because many operators get more institutional... when they go over 2-4B in AUM... higher splits and fees means less ROI for LPs... the trade off is reliability in terms of counter party risk (stealing your money).

There are old style martial arts that are outdated for todays times and then there are progressive martial arts that use techniques for real world self defense.No legal advice given.         

I'd like to get some first person experience on this rather than what I find out on the internet that can be outdated. 

I’m already there, but I still enjoy taking an outdated property and making it into a LTR, MTR or STR.

Furthermore they teach you outdated methodologies that may have worked 5-10 years ago.

Things are generally not yet outdated per say, just more so last trends design.
