No secret I'm not a fan of new build or supposed turn key rental deals but regardless I would 100% have expected them to alert me to such a significant increase in taxes likely which should have been included in the prospectus.

Previously STRs were thought of as risky, there wasn't much info about the actual financials behind them or what it took to run them, how to underwrite them, etc.The more risky and less populated an investment vehicle is, the better the returns are.Now the secret is out, everyone knows about it, it's super easy to find info on how to do it, how to underwrite for it, etc.

Emirates invest $500M into Trump family crypto company WLFI for a 49% share (a terrible deal for them by all accounts) then in a "completely unrelated" deal get our closely guarded AI chips despite the huge national security risk created by giving them this technology... essentially just using crypto to hide a blatant bribe and selling off our national secrets that protect us from China for his own personal profit... not to mention the coincidence that the UAE also invested $2B into Binance around the same time that Trump pardoned Binance founder and former CEO Changpeng Zhao.
