I am new to REI. Not active in it, yet. I want to do some bird dogging first to get my feet wet. Trying to find any groups in the DFW area that have REI meetings througout the month. Any help would be appreciated.
I'd be happy to help you out. What area of Dallas do you live in? I live near Buckner and Garland (White Rock Lake/Casa Linda). I rehab houses to sell, mostly SE Dallas (Mesquite, Pleasant Grove, Balch Springs), manage rentals, and am building a rental inventory. Send a PM and we can get together. There are several REI clubs in Dallas.

Hi and welcome to the site. We've got a list of REI clubs in Texas: http://www.biggerpockets.com/real-estate-clubs/texas.html
There are a few in Dallas you can look into. Congrats on taking your first step in your investing career and we hope to see you around the site more often!
www.dfwrein.com is the HUGE local rei club. i check out the website pretty often, and they have some good stuff on there (but biggerpockets is still my favorite. promise!) a buddy of mine (that i met on here) has been to a few of the meetings, and he said they're really good. plus, tons of networking opp's.
best of luck!
Sorry I have missed my daily dose of the forums page  . Been busy working on computers and networks. But right now, at the same time, I am getting my knowledge up about bird dogging.
HI, I'm new too...I just joined a few days ago, and wanted to because this site seems like its got a wealth of information. If anyone knows of any Houston area REI clubs that would be a big help.
there's a link on here for rei clubs. look on the home page. if you can't find it there, i know it's in the discussion boards. it's under one of the main subject headings. i'd look and attach it for you, but my connection is slower than dial-up, and i don't have the patience...
or, just do a google search for "houston real estate club investors."
