Does propstream worth the money?

Question

As a new investor, i am searching for every avenue to hrlp me to analyse my first property and comparing comps. Does propstream web site / software worth the money? Did any body here use it? Would it be helpful withthe BRRRR model?

Well ain't that just peachy... I just noticed the MLS tab is gone. They dropped a few features lately that were quite useful. THat's not ideal but having all the other information in ONE PLACE is the bread and butter for Prop Stream. The ownership info, property records, mortgage type, sales history, equity, and local stats is really useful. The marketing and list creation stuff is great if you're targeting distressed properties.

Just wanted to post a warning out there they have a demo version and if you forget to unsubscribe they'll just continue to take your money.

They also don't make it easy to unsubscribe, you need to contact them and have a human do it.

Pretty shady business tactic IMO.

@Hatem Mahgoub Propstream is worth it if used properly. The fact that the platform can decipher property data such as years of ownership, equity, absentee owners, age, bed/bath count, location, etc. is impressive in my opinion. Getting a BRRRR deal is going to be entirely dependent on the property itself and how motivated the seller is to negotiate to a number that makes sense for both you and the owner. At the end of the day, you still need to build rapport with the owner. Hope this helps.

Hi guys! wanted to re-engage on this topic. For someone that is looking only to pull the property ownership information, is Propstream the best tool? Or are there cheaper options? To give more context, I am trying to locate the owner of a property that I like in Redondo Beach, CA (Los Angeles County), but the tax assessor website doesn't give me any information on the owner nor their billing address...

I have mixed feelings on it so far. They just dropped the mls comps so I’m not sure exactly what they are using. If your market has free public access to county records on sales comps, that’s a good way to work. Or, you could partner with an agent who is willing to run a lot of comps for you in exchange for sending them leads or something.
