Hey everyone,
Always looking to learn more about real estate and would like to do any type of work that may involve anything real estate related. I work full time now Monday through Friday so that makes it a little hard.
Any ideas for weekend work that may teach me more about the industry?

Drive for dollars around your area or any area. Search for distressed or boarded up homes, then reseach those properties to see if it is vacant, absentee owner, or if they are behind on their mortgage or back taxes etc.. send them a letter =)

Be a part time real estate agent in the market you want to invest in. I'd say this can be mostly a weekend job if you offer representation as a buyers agent. It's a great way to learn the local market and get familiar with the RE transaction process.
If your goal is the acquisition of 15 homes you'd be putting roughly $33,000 (gross commission) into your pocket by representing yourself.

Im expanding my acquisitions team after I was recently made fund manager on a 18 million dollar fund. Looking for driven individuals. There is a trial basis in which you are fully trained on how to evaluate and acquire investment properties. Those that prove excellence, will have their license paid for, and opportunity for paid position will be available as soon as you have proven yourself as competent and reliable to the team. I am located in south pasadena 91030. Private message me if you have any interest.

Find someone who is actively looking for more deals. Offer to look at properties for them in exchange for him/her teaching you how to evaluate deals, estimate costs, etc. Not only will you learn how to find properties, you will also become very familiar with your area.
