I am planning a move with my family to the Columbia area from the west coast in the very near future, and would love to chat with a local agent with some expertise in RE investing about our situation, and to help us in our planning/house hunting.
We have been looking to relocate back to the south, and narrowed our search down to SC. After spending some time visiting Columbia earlier this year, we have decided it is the place we would like be! This will be our first investment property, and we are leaning toward a house hack of some sort. But I would really like someone local to bounce the ball with.

Thank you for that recommendation! We are seeing a number of families interested in Columbia, both to live in and invest here. Many I meet seem a little bewildered that they are as serious as they have become about moving to a small city they hardly knew existed two years ago. This weekend a family from near Tacoma arrived and their retiring parents are moving here next week. There are plenty of opportunities for methodical investors to do well in Columbia. I tell all of our new investors to stop thinking about these sorts of purchases as real estate and start thinking of each one of them as a small business and they all seem to do well.
