Hello everyone, I'm curious to know how much time are you guys spending on Bigger Pockets? I realized that this is a great way to network and find cool deals.

@Esteban Jimenez you’re right, it’s a fabulous way to network and even find deals. I spend about 30 minutes per day responding to forum posts and reading blog articles.
Some days I spend up to an hour per day when I am using the BiggerPockets calculators.
There’s a lot of good material and relationships to be had on here, it’s worth your time!

Thats awesome! I think listening is still very helpful especially if you are educating yourself. Also try Creating a forum tomorrow and see how that goes. It might help you get more active. This is why I'm doing it

It's my goal to read a little bit daily - not posting a whole lot - just reading and soaking up information. I recently started to sent a few connection requests in areas I'm interested in investing to help build my network. Gotta start somewhere, I suppose. Cheers. r/Bryant

@Esteban Jimenez I'm addicted to the BP Realestate podcast. I'm a new member and binche listen to all the old episode to and from work everyday. I also spend quite some time in the listing section but realized that some of the listing are very outdated. Anyone else having that experience?

Haha yeah I was the same way when I first started but now I'm realizing that there is so much I still don't know. Even some old podcast can have useful information. I don't know how far back you went but I started listening around 100+.

@Esteban Jimenez I didn't install facebook on my new phone 3 months ago, and decided to read books every time I think about scrolling. I have read more books in the past 3 months than I have in years. Without facebook or Instagram, BP and reading books is my go to. I think I spend about 1 hr a day on BP.

So I've been listening to the podcasts for almost 3 years but I never spent too much time on the site or forums. I've actually made it a part of my business plan to be more active in writing and replying to topic discussions and connecting with people. I see a huge opportunity for me to connect with investors not only as clients but also as potential and future partnerships.
I have made only a few posts and connections so far, but honestly they are some of the strongest and most immediate "match made in heaven" type of relationships that I have ever gotten. More than direct mail, more than advertising, social media, etc. I've met a mentor, made referrals to agents, signed on buyer clients, and found a financial partner for my own projects in just a few short months of being more "active".
I love meeting new people and connecting and collaborating on all ideas real estate, and everyone on here is of that same like-mind. So I plan on spending at least 3-4 hours a week actively participating on Bigger Pockets, because its the easiest and most direct way to not only make connections but learn from experts

Wow! I'm glad that this has impacted you in this way. The connections and growth that has helped your business grow is exactly what we should all be looking for on this site. Im a big believer on networking and congratulations on that accomplishment. Thank you for sharing that.
Just recently a ton more. Ive only been a member a few months but wasn't doing much except using the calculators. No I've decided to pick a Florida market and get a few deals in the next few months and networking is helping a lot since I don't live in Florida.

I love listening to the podcasts and have made a few forum posts previously but, like others have mentioned, my goal is also to increase my time spent here answering posts and connecting with others. I am using BP to connect with real estate agents to begin building my team.

I dedicate at least one post a day, usually when I do that one post I see a lot of stuff and end up either posting or learning more. It is a great resource!
