Turnkey companies in St Louis

Hello,

I was looking to invest in cash-flow properties in the midwest. I was researching St.Louis since I have family there and visit about once a year.  Since I currently live in CA, was looking for recommendations for turnkey real-estate companies in St.Louis.

 I am not too familiar with that market, but my advice on Turnkey companies always stays the same. Make sure they own, renovate, and manage the property all in-house! The only third party that is used should be the home inspection. If they dump you off on some other company after the purchase or do not own the property, it is not a Turnkey.

    Hi Manju,

    My families' company, Memphis Invest, has a team in St. Louis that we are training and planning to be up and offering properties there hopefully by the 4th qtr.  We researched the market and found it fit well for what we are looking for, but we did not find a presence of turnkey providers in the area.  St. Louis is big, as you know, with lot so municipalities so we are taking our time, building our team and relationships with vendors and if everything goes as it has in other markets we've entered, we should be operational by the 4th qtr.

    Frontier Property Management also sells turnkeys.  The owner is Chad Murry.  PM me if you want more info.

    I am local to St. Louis and there is not really a big turnkey name that stands out. But I know that there are some. If you need any help talking this market , let me know.

    Hi all, I’ve also been looking at small multi families in STL. There seems to be a lot of neighborhoods. Would love to connect with other out of state investors (also from CA here) and hear your thoughts.

    Hey Larry,

    STL is a great market for cashflow and if you target proper neighborhoods and plan to own for more than just a few years, you can expect to get some good appreciation as well. 

    I have been investing in STL for 18 months and have 7 Doors right now (2 more under contract now!!) and it has been a bumpy road but, now that I have a team of people here to help on remodel etc. and not doing everything myself, it’s much smoother going.

    Hi Manju, I live and invest in St. Louis. I would agree with @Ben Dao that there isn't really any company that stands out. That said, I know some local companies that are moving toward this model. Would be happy to help, let me know.

    @Manju C. and @George Lai — I invested through Jimmy Vreeland / Vreeland Capital's turnkey system across four properties. My experience included substantial rehab overruns, long delays, communication problems, and final values below projections; my total losses exceeded $100K.     Based on my experience, I would not recommend working with Vreeland.
