Sir I have done 1ks of reno/repairs in Cleveland, 100s and 100s and 100s of move in and outs. We cannot answer this with intelligence. We do not know the location, or what quality you want to do. Well sure a simple rental turn for an 850- 950 unit, 3-5 k, carpet paint, and basics. If you are trying to do this on your own, it will not end well. You need a team there. You have zero experience there and are trying to learn on the internet, this has disaster written all over it. If you would like help I am happy to recommend.

IMPOSSIBLE to answer. I buy, sell and am landlord there. I do about 150k a month there in reno/ repairs/rental turns, all depends on what you want to do. If YOU do not know the numbers, then you should not be doing it.

How do you define “slightly renovate” and are these apartment units with interior only? What is the square footage? They studios or 2 bed 2 bath?

A lot more is needed to get an idea but could be anywhere from $5k-$20k depending on where you are located

Way too many variables here. A “heavy turn” can easily cost $5,000 but a partial renovation can be anywhere from $7,000 to $20,000 per unit depending on the market and unit size/layout. I would say that most standard renovations on typically sized flat units is $12,000 to $15,000.

While I will never disagree with what a poster says it costs for them to renovate/repair certain items you need to consider that there are differences in costs between markets. If you are purchasing in the same market as someone who has responded then maybe you can use that person's number(s). If they are in a different market then using their numbers may get you in trouble. I recommend you review homewyse.com to get you in the ball park of what items may cost in your market. This includes materials and labor per zip code.
