What Markets Need More Real Estate Meetups?

We host free Simplified Real Estate Meetups all across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine — about 15 each quarter. You’ll see them posted here on BiggerPockets under “Simplified Real Estate Meetups.”

We just joined eXp, which means we no longer have to worry about licensing limitations, and we’re planning to expand into Connecticut and Rhode Island before the end of the year.

Our model is simple — we find great investor-minded agents in each market and build a meetup community around them. It’s been a great way to help new and experienced investors connect, learn, and actually take action.

When I talk to people on BiggerPockets or offline, I always tell them to go to a meetup. I don’t even care if it’s ours, just get out and meet people. Meeting others who are actually doing the thing you want to do changes everything. When I bought my first house hack back in 2010, everyone thought I was crazy. I would alway have people asking Why I was doing what I was doing. A few years later, the same people started asking me How I was doing what I was doing. That one word changed it all.

So, I’m curious — what markets across the country do you think could use more real estate meetups? Where are you seeing gaps or unmet demand? We’re exploring where to expand next, and I’d love to hear what your local meetup scene looks like.
