Greetings BP Family! Quick question: Would anybody be willing to briefly share their experiences, if any, with realestateexpress.com for taking a course to get on the track to earning a license with the state of Florida?

I am currently in the process of getting my license as well in the state of Georgia. I did my 75 hour pre-licensing course online because I am a self starter and because of the flexibility with my schedule. Just go to your state run real estate commission and find out the schools they authorize under Florida and see if those schools offer online courses. They all pretty much teach the same content.

I used real estate express for NY and it is the most efficient way to spend your time and money

Not sure if this was mentioned already, but you can always take your prelicense courses through a local community college online. Usually competitively priced and you get college credits for your courses. Second option, Rockwell Institute, excellent online program and some community colleges use them for their online RE offerings. Just make sure to review California's BRE restrictions on how many course hours you can complete per day/week. Best of luck!!

WOW...I did the exact same thing!! (ashamed to admit)...I was working full time and purchased the online course ($250) and did not complete it....now I am looking to get licensed this year, next cpl of months....good thing is, the online course has gone down to $195.

Hi @Richard Hammac I did real estate express online course, but I did not find it helpful. I ended up taking it in class also through GA MLS. I needed that in class learning and study sessions with other people. Let me know if you need any help. What type of learner are you? Have you ever taken an online class before?

I definitely recommend going the online route. I took classes for both the CA real estate sales license and the CA real estate brokers license through Allied School. I found that their sample exams were more challenging than the actual state exam. Good luck!

@Shane Hedeen does Kaplan guide you through the licensing process or it is just passing the test? Also, do you still have to work with licensed broker or you can be on your own. I want to get the license to access the MLS, get insight info and possibly save on closing. I do not want to be a real estate agent however.
