Are there any experienced investors around here? I am in either town every day and I'd like to connect sometime! I don't know really anything about real estate investing In the real world, I read bigger pockets every day, but iv never actually met anyone who's actually out there getting it done. I really want to live out my goals and I believe REI is the way, so I'm trying to learn everything I can.

    Find the REIA groups in your area and go to their meetings. I know the ones for Indianapolis but not for Lafayette.

    Go tot he REIA meetings and put an ad on BP. I'd like to help you, but I'm about 2 hours away in Northwest Indiana. Good Luck!

    I'm in West Lafayette, but not experienced! We've just bought a personal house and will look to buy our first investment property in the next year. 

    There is a local real estate investment group that meets every now an then - I am yet to get to one of their meetings, but I plan to go soon https://www.meetup.com/Lafayette-Landlords-Meetup/

    I think the closest REIA group is in Indy.

    I'm actually in California and getting ready to start investing in rental property. Want to start with a single multi-family property while learning the ropes and then scale up. Wondering if you guys have recommendations on agents, title companies, and property managers. Just starting out this week and am so thankful to have a mentor in my area (old neighbor) who steered me to Bigger Pockets and I quickly realize that I cannot invest in my area. Would love to connect virtually!

    Is there a Lafayette/West Lafayeet investors groups there now? Looking to connect with local investors interested in multifamily property.
