Hello Everyone,
I am considering an opportunity to invest in multiple units ( 2 two bedroom, 1 one bedroom town homes) on the north part of the island and was wondering if anyone on Bigger Pockets was knowledgeable of that market in regards to short term rental possibilities through VRBO or something along those lines. Also does anyone know of any future commercial development plans; i.e new restaurants, shops.

Joe: just invested in a 7 unit apartment near Miracle Mile (not beachside). Believe there's a significant difference between beachside and non in terms of short and long term rentals (and $$$). I'd calculate12 month income vs. winter only and factor in time, energy, management, expenses, etc. P.S. name of complex, if any?

Hi Bill,
We are driving there this weekend- I hope to know ALLOT more then. Not being from that area we plan to spend Sat and Sunday driving and getting a better sense.
