Hi there, I would love to connect with anyone under the sun who has an interest in, passion for, and experience with purchasing residential homes for recovery support co housing.
Especially would love to hear from investors that could guide on what might help to secure funding? How would you see this type of project?
I am specifically interested in housing women who struggle with eating disorders. There is such an incredible need and i believe this dream God has given me can be a lucrative ministry and help many people.

@Jennaveve St Claire I know this is an old post but I’d be happy to discuss recovery housing with you. I own a duplex that is leased to an organization that has recovery programs and group housing for men and women.

Hello Todd,
I see that this post is a few years old, but would you be willing to speak with me about your experience? I have been contacted by a company wanting to lease my single family furnished rental on a long term lease for men recovering from addiction. I would love to hear the experience you had with your duplex and to find out the lease structure for leasing to a corporation that serves as guarantor (if that is how you did it.) Thank you!

Hi Jennaveve, I know this thread is quite old, but I figured I’d reach out since someone else recently jumped in as well.
I’ve been working in the recovery housing space for nearly ten years, helping both investors and nonprofits open and support recovery homes across the country. Your vision to create a supportive space for women recovering from eating disorders is deeply needed, and you're right, it can absolutely be both a powerful ministry and a financially sustainable model.
Securing funding can be challenging, but there are ways to structure these projects using private investment, grant funding, or partnerships with treatment providers. If you're still exploring this path, I’d be happy to connect and share what’s worked for others.
