Navigating a Slowing Market: How Are Investors Adapting in 2025?

Hello Everyone,

Reports suggest 2025 could be the worst year for U.S. home sales in history, with buyer activity dropping significantly. For those actively investing in real estate — how are you adjusting your strategy in this unusual market?

Some approaches I’ve been seeing:

  • Finding better deals due to less competition

  • Pivoting from flips to long-term rentals

  • Holding properties longer than originally planned

  • Offering seller financing to make deals work

I’d love to hear from seasoned investors: What strategies are you using to navigate these conditions?

Hey Andy, With rates and requirements shifting, having a lender who can move quickly and adapt terms to the deal has been huge. The investors who are adjusting, not pausing, are finding some of the best entry points they’ve seen in years. Slower markets tend to reward patience and skill over speed.
