Book title thoughts: Medium-term rentals (30+ days)

Book title thoughts: Medium-term rentals (30+ days)

Hello BP forums—help us choose a book title! This is for the medium-term rental book coming out in November.

We don't have a forum exclusively for medium-term rentals (yet!) so I figured this would be a good place to post this question. For those of you curious to learn more about 30-plus-day rentals and/or traveling nurse housing, which book title/subtitle sounds the most compelling?

@Kaylee Walterbach, I think this is a great idea! I like 30-Day Stay, super catchy. I think Mid-Term rolls off the tongue a little better than medium term, but that's just my opinion.

I'll throw a title out for fun!

    The Mid-Term Rental Fundamentals haha,

Excited y'all are putting out this book!

The Thirty Day Stay.  You might have another Harry Potter on your hands!  I bet you could sell a couple few of those.

Oooh, I can't wait for this! Here in San Diego there is a big demand for this type of rental for sure. Lovely, furnished, short-term rentals are needed in areas with growing industries and businesses, universities, great scenery or vacationing, and of course health care. San Diego has all of this, and we are considering doing this with one of our units. There isn't a lot of info out there for medium tern rentals, so this is really going to fill a void!

I don't know much about short-term rentals, but as a direct response copywriter, I suggest putting "How to" somewhere in the title or subtitle. You will greatly increase your conversions.

Well from these 2 choices I like 30-Day Stay because it accurately describes the length of rental term you are discussing. Just my preference!

@Kaylee Walterbach 30 day stay is catchy but I don't believe it portrays the objective of the book very well.  Is it me staying somewhere for 30 days?  Is it a health and fitness book talking about staying on a diet for 30 days?  It's ambiguous.  The long-short rental lets the person outside of real estate know what the book is about.  It's also kind of a play on words from the movie the big-short which might attract more readers.

I feel there has always been a demand for these medium term rentals with people in the traveling medical field, traveling teachers and traveling trainers of all sorts. They just haven't received the attention they deserve so you're filling that knowledge gap for everyone interested in taking advantage of that market with this one and I am excited to read it when it comes out!

You are correct. I think there’s a great need here in many areas of the country.

I'm looking forward to this coming out and just pre-ordered it  on amazon.

Good luck with this. We already do quite a bit of 30-day stays where the HOA or neighborhood restricts short-term rentals.

There is definitely a demand for this type of rental. Traveling nurses, recent transplants, home shoppers, etc. Ignore the negativity.
