Ring Front Door Monitoring

I tried searching and didn't have much luck so thanks in advance if you are repeating advice already given. Do you have a ring or some type of video on the front door? I'm thinking of monitoring number of occupants and for unregistered dogs.  Although I almost wonder if better to don't ask don't tell rather than engage.

I don't like the STR camera doorbell as it is too in your face for me.

I do use the Ring motion floodlight cameras and love them.

I agree with John.  I have motion lights and all night flood lights.
Oh, and ace-in-the-hole: my STR house is next door...
