I have my listing on Airbnb but I would like to list it on many more and manage them (Expedia, booking, VRBO, etc.) with a single mailbox. Any suggestion on what service to use?
I have created my own brand "thejetsethost" and manage all email and calendars via Outlook, though I've only found Airbnb and Homeaway to be worthwhile.
I use Gmail for all of my properties' listings. I like that it has a related calendar and also a cloud drive that I can store all of my documents & records on that relate to the properties & their reservations.
Another thing I like about Gmail is that you can use "aliases" when replying to emails, so even though an email may arrive in the main inbox you can reply as another email address that you own. This is handy if you have a specific email address that you use for one property but you want to handle all of your communication from another email account.
@John Martin Yeah @Andrew Wong is right as always. just put it on vrbo/homeaway (same company) and be done. The others aren't really worth the effort. Good luck and welcome to VRs. And maybe add a pic ;)
Most of my renters find my ad on craigslist. I rent to refinery contractors....welders, boilermakers, pipefitters, etc.
Some guys find out about my places from the local prostitutes. They would rather do their business in a furnished house instead of a motel room. I get referral renters from the local working women.
