Hello, new member looking to invest in Ohio

Hello, I'm based in California and want to get my first property. Looking at central or south eastern Ohio. Hoping to learn about real estate investing in general and some common mistakes I should avoid. Thank you

I would definitely recommend Columbus OH. It's a solid hybrid market of cash flow and appreciation. Columbus has lots of job opportunities and population growth. I currently live and invest here in Columbus OH and would recommend it.

Recommend watching the valuable content that Bigger Pockets posts on youtube. Real world scenarios and real world solutions. If you are a reader, the are some great books written by some of the Bigger Pockets leaders as well that are great resources.

I started purchasing small multifamily in Columbus, Ohio over 4 years ago. The cost of entry is low while the cash flow is high. Columbus is the only Ohio market that has seen rapid growth in jobs and population.
