New Investor looking to get into BRRR's

I Am currently in the finishing stages of building my own house in Ontario, Canada and looking to sell and relocate to texas (likely DFW area)

i have done 90% of the work on this project by myself so im confident in my ability to do any and all repairs on the property. 

Ive come to this community to get insight and tips that i may find useful to help me on my journey.

    Hey Kurtis!

    Welcome to BP! Your post is a little confusing...are you relocating yourself or just your money to DFW to try and BRRRR properties?

    Not sure what part of Ontario you are from but congrats on getting your own house built! Assuming you have a good margin baked in that should be a great runway to start BRRRRing properties.

       Hello! Are you going to be building a home in Texas or repairing one? Provide a little more information please so we know how to help you. 


       Im hoping to start with rehabs then get into builds possibly in the future but not 100% positive on that

    Im looking at relocating myself and my funds to the DFW area after completion of this property and will have aprox 500k USD but looking to only use 300 of it to as investable capital.

    i feel like that should be a good amount so that way i would have funding issues due to lack of american credit history.(im told they are not the same)

    Hopefully that clears up any gaps in my introduction

       Awesome, that helps! I have a lender that works with investors and foreign nationals, I am sure she can find a solution for your situation. Given your skills, you might consider value-add properties, BRRRR (Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat) strategies, or even house hacking to maximize returns.
