New Member: Indiana Resident Trying to Learn STR

Hello I am new to the real estate/STR world. I am looking to try to diversify my asset holdings but also to use the STR as a tax strategy while earning income. I am trying to learn if this is the best place to jump into the STR world or engaging services of a company like STR Like the Best is best? I know nothing about RE investing and assessing a deal.
