Hi! I'm Jason. Just wanted to say hello and that I'm looking forward to being a part of the BP community!

    Hey Jason! Welcome to BP! I agree with Patrick, it's always nice to see Washington investors on this site. Keep your eye out for a future BP meetup--the last one I know of was in Lakewood. They're really good for networking and motivation. Best of luck!

    Also -be sure to setup some keyword alerts - especially for "Tacoma" so you can jump into local conversations.

    Hey Jason!  Glad you made it on to BP!  A great feature I haven't seen anyone talk about is the fileplace feature, I know Brandon mentioned the Ultimate Beginner's Guide but there is also other great info located there that you can download to increase your learning.  Wish you the best of luck in all you do!

    BP is a great resource that you can utilize.  Check out the Learn tab above for the podcasrs.  Also there is a blog post abotu the best RE Investing books out there  that is worth checking out.

    @Kenneth Hynes  I've been in WA since 2010. I'm originally from Tennessee, but I'm not sure anything will ever take me from western WA!

    @Tyler Blackwell  thanks for the tip! That sounds awesome! How often do they have meet ups? Lakewood is super close!!

    Jason, welcome to the site!  The next meet-up is in U-district, October 16th.  I'm hoping they'll keep mixing up the days and locations to increase the chances of me being able to travel north.  Have you found the podcasts?  And how did door knocking go?  That takes intestinal fortitude to do for very long!
