Hello, my name is Ron Ahmed and I am currently studying Finance at the University of Texas at Arlington and have the strong desire to obtain my MBA. I have recently started to self-educate myself about financial investing and hold a very high interest in trading stocks and investing in real estate.
Two weeks ago I have invested into my first stocks (acquired 55,000 shares of Nyxio $NYXO) and as of a few days ago, my interest for real estate has came back. I plan on forming a limited liability company in the future and look forward to absorbing as much knowledge as I can from this community so I may one day become successful in meeting my goals and ambitions from self-sustaining income.
I'm also halfway through reading Robert Kiyosaki's "Rich Dad, Poor Dad", which has changed the way I think and brought back my interest for real estate investing.

Good luck! Remember that OTC stocks don't have the same reporting requirements as listed stocks so you have to hope the company is reporting revenue and earnings that are true. Invest with knowledge :)
Ron Ahmed welcome to Bigger Pockets! We share similar background - finance MBA, stock investing, real estate, Dallas area resident, etc. I have a ton of books I'd be happy to recommend if you'd like. School is great but I've found a wealth of information from bloggers and NYTimes best selling authors who've shared valuable advice. This site is full of experienced investors so don't be shy to post questions. Feel free to reach out if you'd like, I'd be interested to bounce ideas.

Thanks for the support, I have stockpiled hundreds of e-books full of wealth of information and have to agree that school is great but I have learned more than a semester or two's worth of knowledge in the last two weeks from researching these areas myself. Look forward to conversing in the near future.

Thanks @Corie Bilotta , and yes that's something to take in consideration although I only had about $150 so I decided to get shares of Nyxio after researching it for two weeks, I plan on holding the shares until at least 2018 so hopefully the company generates good income by then.
