New to real estate in Louisiana

I am interested into getting in on real estate business. I have no experience and not a lot of money. Where can I start and where can I get more start up money? Any ideas on specific loans, grants etc?

Welcome to BP @Harper Phan!
I recommend you listen to all of the podcasts to start by learning and "getting smart" on the business. You will learn from experienced investors about how they started with different levels of help/funds available. Read their recommended books from the end of each podcast. There are lots of ways to borrow money for investing that are specific to your personal finances and strategy. Forget about grants, they practically do not exist for investing.
Once you have some basic knowledge of how it all works and start getting to know people who are doing what you understand and decide for yourself that you want to do, then you are ready to start. Until you understand the myriad of different strategies, you are just taking a shot in the dark or following someone else without accepting personal responsibility for your own investment decisions.
