Hubs and I are looking to house hack in Anchorage, Alaska. Looking to learn as much as possible to make our first real estate investment a smart one.

Welcome. Love the Anchorage area, Eagle River is pretty big for military houses as well. I would check out USAA Home Circle or Military By Owner if you're looking in those areas.
My brother is a first Lieutenant at Ft. Richardson. We're headed there for Christmas!

First welcome to the beautiful State of Alaska! Second, good on you for taking the RE plunge.
It is a very small world here in Anchorage. Use BP as well as local real estate groups and investors for information and help.
Good luck to you. Remember education is really important but action is the most important part of the process.
