I must say that I'm very excited that I have come across Biggerpockets. I am looking forward to building relationships, learning, and hopefully finding great people to do business with. I am from Johnstown, PA and have been living near Baltimore, Md for a little over a year. I will be moving to Philadelphia in about a month, so I will be looking to wholesale there as well as back near Baltimore because I know there are good markets. Happy to have joined this network of experienced and helpful investors!

Hey @Jack Schrey please if you start on anything in Baltimore City let me know. I am an investor in the area and would love to see what projects you have going on.
I feel the same way about BP. There is so much to learn here. I love how you can find info on any REI topic. If you have a question chances are the answers are on the site.
My advice is to read the blog articles and listen to the podcasts. You will learn a ton.

Welcome Jack! I am a newbie too. I am currenlty doing a lot of reading and listening to podcasts. I have rental in Baltimore City and I'm looking forward to working on my first flip this year. Looking forward to staying connected. There is soo much information on BP!

Welcome to BP @Jack Schrey I think the Philly market and the Baltimore market have a lot of similarities.
I love working in Baltimore and think it is a great place to invest. But I also believe in investing locally. the people that get the best deals are the ones that know there market best. So just starting out it may be better to learn and work the Philly market if that is where you are going to be.
