Hello BP community!
I am excited to venture back into the RE investor marketplace. I spent some time investing with my father in the Georgia market, but never took the plunge myself. I am looking to focus on flipping in the Massachusetts market while also developing a steady growing portfolio of buy and hold rentals. I look forward to connecting with great folks in the BP community!

Welcome! Be sure to keep us up to date on your happenings:) Also, even though you sound like you have some experience, definitely check out the different blogs/posts/podcasts/etc. for some cool ideas and helpful information.

@Cheng Bin Zhang For flips I am starting in the Worcester area. I'd like to take a look at Waltham/Watertown/Belmont to start my rental portfolio, preferably with duplex's and triplex's.

@Aaron Samuel, Worcester is definitely a market I would look at as well. You're going to need a lot less capital to start there and it's actually a pretty solid city. Just make sure you familiarize yourself with the different neighborhoods before jumping in! The quality of neighborhood changes fast in Worcester.

Hi Aaron, welcome to BP.
This is a great place to learn. Make sure to listen to all the BP podcasts, read the articles on the main blog and be active in these forums to learn a ton very quickly about any topic in real estate you want to know more about.
This is also a great place to meet people that can be assets to your business. Lots of great connections all over but we also have a very strong and active contingent here in MA on here so make sure to find them (Set up some keyword alerts to find out about local topics) and get connected.
Besides doing that on here make sure to get out to some of the many local investor events we have. My favorite is the Black Diamond meeting in Waltham (alternates every other month with their Worcester location, next Waltham meeting is in July). Other ones in and around the city are The Boston Wealth Builders in the city, the Boston Area REIA in Medford and the Boston REIA in Dedham. Many other options north and south of the city as well.
