My name is Gabriel Aponte, I live and invest in the Philadelphia area. I've always had a high interest in real estate. I've done one flip in my life and I currently own several rentals. Which include a duplex, a condo and several single families. I join bigger pockets with the hopes of expanding my knowledge on real estate investing and growing a network of like minded individuals.
Congrats on joining BP! I'm also an investor/Real Estate business owner based in the Philadelphia area (investing both in the area and nationwide).
If you haven't already, I'd suggest checking out our local REIA group, DIG (Diversified Investors Group). They have meetings all across the region and they're a great group for new and experienced investors. Alongside using BP, I built a huge network going there and have learned a ton. Maybe I'll see you at a meeting in the future!
And if you ever have any REI questions that I might be able to answer or if there's anything else I can do for you, just let me know.
Great to see you here. I just joined and referred a guy to you on this thread. He was looking to invest in performing notes.
Hope all is well with you. I still have a single family home that I am renting but looking to sell to an investor. Positive cash flow with a lease agreement and a tenant who won't move and pays on time every month.
Maybe I'll pop in to a DIG meeting and connect again.
I will also recommend that anybody in the Philadelphia area check out becoming a DIG member as @Dave Van Horn has suggested. And for those who already are landlords with rental property in the City of Philadelphia, I encourage you to look into HAPCO in addition to DIG; HAPCO focuses on Philadelphia rentals, and does a fantastic job of keeping up with new regulations that impact the Philadelphia landlord and lobbying to get such regulations to be made more landlord friendly.
