Hey there! 

My name is Carrie, I just joined BP today, subscribed to the podcasts moments ago, and signed up for a webinar tomorrow! I'm really excited to be joining this community and to learn from all the pros here. From my brief forum exploration, I can tell this is a place where I can get invaluable information for my future. So with that, great to meet you all, and I hope to have some enlightening conversations with you guys :)

A little about me: 

I'm 25, freshly out of carpentry school, but not working due to an injury. I've been interested in real estate for a couple of years now but never knew how to pursue it, and I had so many other things going on, so I never tried. Recently, a few things have happened that have really directed me back to this idea (REI, house flipping, etc), and I've decided to stop putting it off and pursue it, starting today.

I have very little experience in real estate, and the smallest bit of experience with flipping. However, I'm great with my hands, I'm eager to learn, and I love to build! I attended the "Fortune Builders" seminar last month-- eye opening for me, and very motivating. Though I'm not going through with their program, I thought the information they gave to us was wonderful. 

I'm looking to get connected in my local community-- If anyone is from the Los Angeles, CA area and knows of goings-ons, meetings, groups, etc, please reach out! I'd love to learn more and meet some people.
