Hi all. I am a newly relocated investor to the San Francisco East Bay Area, and am looking to network with some folks in the area. I am looking forward to building a working relationship with REIs in the area. I relocated from the Kansas City, Missouri area, and owned a couple rentals, completed wholesaling deals, fix and flips, and am looking to do the same thing here in the East Bay. As I mentioned, I would love to meet some folks in the area that share the same passion. Aside from REI, and like many folks, I hold a full time job, so this has always been something I have done on the side to yield additional income. If anyone has any tips on the best ways to build a cash buyers list in this area, or would want to meet up, grab some coffee and share information, please let me know. I look forward to meeting new folks and building relationships.

Welcome to the Bay and welcome to BP. I grew up in the Concord area but now live an hour south in San Jose. A few times a month I am in the Danville area for work (~20 mins from Concord). Maybe we could meet up soon for lunch and strategize.

@Jake Knight Thank you, Jake. I appreciate the warm welcome. I actually work in Fremont, and commute daily, so that actually could work out really well. I would really like to take advantage of that and meet up and strategize. I am interested in building any type of relationship with as many folks as I can.
@Shaun Brown Thanks, Dennis. I would definitely like to take advantage of that and meet up sometime. I am looking to take my investing to the next level out here, more so than just the casual investing, and am looking to start building my network now that I have relocated.

@Dan Tsunekawa Dan, thanks for the warm welcome to the Bay Area. We really love it out here so far. Yes, Kansas City is continuously growing, and expanding out into areas where before I wouldn't have thought about investing in. There are a lot of nice areas to invest in on both the Missouri and Kansas sides of the city, and a lot of great strategic areas as well (schools, sports teams, etc.). I have not completely ruled out continuing to invest in that area, and would definitely be interested to help you along if you continue pursuing it.

@Mark LupkeyYou can find buyers here on B.P. You can find them by going to the local rei meetups. The hard part is finding a seller that will sell at a reasonable price. The return rates on direct mail are a lot lower than in kansas city if you mailed there. There is a short supply of homes for sale so if you find a good deal, you will sell it fast. The difficult part is getting a reasonable seller. Everybody in the bay area thinks their home is worth a million dollars or more.

@Mark Lupkeyif your willing to spend the money for direct mail, you can still wholesale to the Kansas City market. I mail to the kc market looking for deals .

@Gordon Cuffe That is a great idea. I would love to get together sometime to talk strategies for that market and how I can help. KC is a great market, with many valuable and marketable areas on both the Missouri and Kansas side.
