Hello from Mt. Holly NJ!

Hi BP,

I'm excited to have found Bigger Pockets and have been on a BP podcast binge for two weeks now. I have just about listened to all of the podcasts and figured it was time to hit up the website! My names Chris and I'm an air force pilot by trade. It turns out that I have been unknowingly "house hacking" for some time now and am fully renting two single family homes that I own. 

My SFR acquisitions have been great, but I'm dead set on stepping up my game into apartment complexes. I'm attracted to the scale-ability that they afford. I just moved to Mt. Holly New Jersey and a new town means new opportunities and beginnings! I'm looking forward to attending networking events and am seeking like minded friends, mentors or partners. At any rate, thanks BP for the wealth of knowledge that you all collectively provide and I look forward to meeting new people!

    @Chris Reichelt , Its a really great group of smart people. I honestly haven't been to meetings in a few months, but I'm looking to start attending more often again. If my wife doesnt go into labor this weekend I'm headed to the cherry hill meetup on monday the 12th.

    Hi Chris Reichelt and welcome to BP! As Karl Knaupp mentioned, great resources can be found at our SJREIA meetings. I co-run the Princeton subgroup and usually attend the main meeting at Cherry Hill the same week. Hopefully I'll meet you at one of those. I recently picked up a house in Willingboro to flip, which is the town next door to you. If you're ever interested in walking through while I'm in town just let me know. Good luck!

    Hi @Erik Cabral, thanks for the welcome! I plan on attending the Cherry hill meeting coming up. I'd love to walk through and see what you've done. When will you be in town? Have you done any multifamily deals? I'm very much interested in commercial and the scale-ability that they afford.

    Chris Reichelt yes, I'm currently closing on a multi-family (2-unit) this week. Of which I'm inheriting a tenant (unit 1) and getting the CO for the 2nd unit in order to begin the process of finding new tenants. I'm not sure if I'll be in Willingboro this week or next but shoot me a PM and we can arrange a meet up.
