Hello from New York City- Newbie to Investing!

Hi everyone! My name is Tresanne and I am a complete newb to real estate. It's something I have been thinking about getting into for a few years but I never took action to get started. I  currently work at a hospital as an operations manager but I am looking to find something more flexible so that I can do real estate investing. My main real estate goal is to own an apartment complex using the buy and hold strategy. I am also interested in multi-family properties as well as flipping houses.
