Contractor looking to turn investor in Cincinnati/Dayton area

Hello, my name is Chuck Russell and I’m currently a contractor in my he Cincinnati area looking to start some fix and flips of my own or with partnerships and start building a rental portfolio. Im originally from Traverse City Michigan. I’m a father of 3, my daughters are 21 and 19 and my son is 14. I’m new to BiggerPockets but have been attending Cincinnati’s Best Ever REI Mastermind. I’m looking to network, learn, teach and help in anyway possible. I’m looking forward to being an active member here and hope to speak some of you soon.

    I'm in Wyoming pretty close to fairfield

     @Russ Trimboli thank you for reaching out. What area do you focus on and do you work on other projects than your own? I have a couple smaller projects that need some immediate attention but a little backed up right now.

    Hey Chuck, welcome to the forums.  I'm currently rehabbing my first duplex in Fairfield to hold & rent.  I hope to be finished up by the end of May.  After that, I'll be looking for my next deal.  What types of properties and in what areas are you looking for?

    Another group that I've learned a lot from in Cincy is the REIAGC.  Their meetings are on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of the month.  1st one is free.  There are plenty of members that invest in Fairfield & Hamilton.

    Im a GC in downtown cincinnati. Finishing up my last 6 apts for myself and gave a bunch of folks calling about rehabbing other buildings. Happy to point folks your way once I've seen some of your work.
