Hey guys and gals! My name is Danny Brown. My background consists of 10 years of residential construction and appliance repair. There's a good chance if you've needed your appliance for a Tennant fixed in the last 5 years then I've probably been the one to fix it. I've become absolutely obsessed with real estate investing recently. I listen to podcasts, read the forums and have been reading Brandon Turner's book "The Book on Rental Property investing. Any quick tips, books, articles, blogs etc you could send my way that would be great! Hope to hear from all of you!

Welcome, Daniel! Sounds like you're way ahead of the game with your job skills - I wish I had half of those abilities to take care of our rental properties!

My top recommendation is always to plug into the podcast - it was a huge key to my success in those early phases. Since it sounds like you're already tuning in...I recommend connecting with a real estate agent that you trust who can help you identify opportunities in your desired neighborhoods. And if you haven't started talking to banks / lenders, that would be a good next step, as well. Understanding the lending process and variables will save you time and money once you locate the deal you want to close.

Best of luck!
